Background information

Each planning consideration we work on passes through the stages of our design process, where we research and answer specific questions to help us collect more information.

Read all the background information that we have on this consideration.

  • Kieran Wint (02 August 2024)

Data that could be used can be found through the Archaeology Data Service or the Historic England archive, but they are not packaged into datasets, so further research needs to be completed on how we might gather the right data for the purposes of covering archaeological remains.

A clearer definition of archaeological remains might also be necessary to investigate the data in question further.
