The Department for Education publish a register of all Educational Estabishments in the UK as part of the Get Information about Schools service.
We want to check if this would be a useful dataset to get on to planning.data.gov.uk
From Screen to Research
We have screened this consideration, found the legislation and an existing national dataset. Therefore we think it warrants further research.
From Research to Co-design
We have identified a planning need and a use case where this data would be useful to enforce or administer a policy. So we are moving it to the co-design stage
From Co-design to Test and iterate
We have made education establishment data available through the platform. This data can now be used and tested by data consumers.
At the end of March 2024, we moved this planning consideration into planning data design. We moved it with the stage it had at the time. Therefore, we are only able to show history from that point.
