      (1) The local planning authority must enter land in Part 1 where the land falls within the description in paragraph (1)(a) of regulation 3 and meets the criteria in paragraph (1) of regulation 4. (2) The local planning authority must also enter land in Part 2 where— the land falls within the description in paragraph (1)(a) of regulation 3, the land meets the criteria in paragraph (1) of regulation 4, and the authority have decided to allocate the land for residential development, having followed the procedures mentioned in paragraph (7).

      The Town and Country Planning (Brownfield Land Register) Regulations 2017, Regulation 16 - “Public inspection of the register”

      (1) The register must be kept available for public inspection at the principal office of the local planning authority. (2) Where the register kept by a local planning authority under this regulation is kept using electronic storage, the authority may make the register available for inspection by the public on a website maintained by the authority for that purpose.
