Research
These are the questions we answer during the Research stage.
Answering them wil help us learn more about the Built up areas consideration, determine if a data standard is required and whether we know enough to move on to the next stage.
-
Do we understand the lifecycle of a Built up areas?
No
-
Do we understand how the data is created/produced?
N/A
-
Where will or should the data be used?

-
What other planning considerations does it interact with?

-
Who are the statutory consultees for Built up areas?
-

What are the planning needs for this data?
In order to support analysis into land use, statistical data such as built up areas can be used. Using this dataset, we are able to see what land is not built-up, and which can contribute towards understanding what land is available for development. While this is a useful statistical dataset, a more precise source will be required for site selection purposes.
